Terms of use

WhereWeMet helps you turn a meaningful place into a customizable map print. These terms describe the current design studio and cart.

The studio and cart

You can customize a print, preview it and save it to a cart in your browser. Buy now adds the current print to that cart and opens a review. It does not submit an order or take payment. Prices, available materials and production details are provisional; shipping and taxes are not included.

We plan to produce and fulfill prints in-house. Final prices, delivery estimates and applicable purchase and return terms will be provided before an order can be placed.

Your design

Please use wording and materials you have permission to use. Drafts and cart items are stored on your device and may be lost if you clear browser data, switch browsers or use private browsing. Screen colors, metallic effects and frame previews are illustrative; physical materials require production checks.

Map credits & licenses

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Map schema and cartographic design © OpenMapTiles, under CC BY 4.0. Tiles are provided by OpenFreeMap. WhereWeMet adapts these sources into custom pen-line compositions.

New artwork carries its visible credits on a companion back or packaging label. Production packages include artwork.svg and back-label.svg; keep that label with the print. Previously frozen drawings retain their original geometry and may include front credits. If you share or reproduce a map image, include the source credits and license links with it.

Maps may contain omissions or errors. These decorative prints are not intended for navigation, surveying or boundary decisions.
